We are excited to welcome you to the Hemmens Cultural Center for the Elgin Symphony Orchestra’s 2023-2024 Season. Tickets can be purchased at tickets.elginsymphony.org or through our Box Office, in person or over the phone. For any questions regarding our tickets or policies, please refer to the information below for most of our frequently asked questions.

Season Subscriber Benefits
Subscribe & Save – Attend 6 concerts for the price of 5 when you purchase our full Season Subscription. That’s like seeing The Planets for free!
Favorite Seats – Like your seats? Subscribers have their favorite seats held for them at the beginning of each season.
Fees Reduced – Ticket Processing Fees reduced during initial subscription order.

Donating Tickets
Ticket holders unable to use or exchange their tickets are encouraged to call the Box Office to donate their tickets. The value of each ticket can be used as a tax-deductible contribution and we will issue a tax receipt for the amount paid for the ticket(s).
Exchange Policy
Subscribers can exchange tickets between Classical Series concerts and dates. Tickets for Special Events can be exchanged between dates of the same event.
Ticket exchanges must be called or emailed into the box office at least 24 hours prior to the performance time. Any balance towards the total must be paid by the patron at the time of the exchange. Should you exchange your tickets to those of a lower price, the balance will not be refunded nor credited to you.
Single tickets may not be exchanged.
Refund Policy
There are no refunds for any ticket purchases.

Lost tickets can be reprinted at our box office in the hour prior to the performance.

There is a $2 per ticket Ticket Processing Fee for all standard ticket orders.

Season Subscription - Attend Six concerts for the price of Five when you purchase our full Season Subscription. That’s like seeing Beethoven’s 9th for free! Click here to see our subscription information.
Choose Your Own Subscription – Save 10% off single ticket prices and receive other benefits when you purchase 3 or more concerts in a single order. Click here to see our subscription information.
Group Sales – Groups of 10 or more can save 15% off the single ticket price and have fees waived! Contact the box office for more information.
First-timers – Bring a friend or neighbor who hasn’t attended an Elgin Symphony Orchestra concert and receive free tickets with your purchase of two or more tickets to one of our classics concerts. Contact the box office for tickets. *Limited two per concert. Subject to availability, restrictions may apply.
Free Youth Tickets – Youth ages 17 and under are free with a ticketed adult. Limited one per paid adult ticket. Please contact the box office for tickets.
Radio Partners – Limited complimentary or discounted ticket vouchers may be available for select concerts via our radio partners: WRMN, WFMT and WZSR. Listen live or visit their websites for more details. -

Hold the gift certificate at box office for pick-up
Email the gift certificate to purchaser to print-at-home on any 8.5×11 sheet of paper*Please note: Gift certificates ordered online are processed the next business day. If a gift certificate is needed the same day, please call the box office for faster processing.
Checking Your Balance
There are 3 ways to check the balance of your ESO gift certificate or ESO account credit.CLICK HERE to check the balance of a gift certificate or ESO account credit online. Voucher control number and online redemption security code required.

The Box Office and Will Call open one hour prior to the performance time and is located in the venue lobby. Seating begins 30 minutes prior to the performance time.The run time of a concert is approximately 2 hours, which includes a 20 minute intermission.
Late seating is at the discretion of house management. If you arrive late, you may be asked to wait until a movement or work has concluded before being seated in the auditorium.
